Attention to technology
At Rometron, the creators of WEED-IT, we think it’s important to have plenty of focus on technology. Innovation is in our DNA and at the heart of our raison d’être. It is who we are and what we do, every day.
We want to share this passion for technology, especially with the younger generation. That’s why we like to cooperate with initiatives that promote technical occupations. Together we want to show how interesting and important engineering is, and in doing so we hope to inspire the engineers of the future.

Tech-tok
Tech-Tok is an initiative of VMBO schools in the Achterhoek region. Using a cross-media approach, they enthuse elementary school children to choose to study engineering. They do this by, among other things:
- An interactive video platform
- Interviews in the Achterhoekse Courant
- Education in elementary schools
- Company visits to Achterhoek companies
- Open Days
- Participation in the Engineering Day
Interactive, understandable and, above all, great fun.
Rometron is proud to partner with Tech-Tok and contribute to enthusing schoolchildren about the tech sector. Elementary school students have a unique opportunity with us to discover technology up close during an interactive tour.
With hands-on activities and fun examples, we will demonstrate how our smart precision technology works. Especially for young visitors, we have even developed a video explaining our technology in a clear and engaging way – completely tailored to their experience. This is how we make technology tangible, understandable and, above all, lots of fun!
The Talent Garden
The Talent Garden is the career fair for young talents who aspire to a future in the Achterhoek. A great yet approachable event where employers and talent come together. Rometron is there to inspire scholars, students and recent graduates with our groundbreaking technology. In an interactive way, we make technology accessible and enthuse the next generation for a career in the technical sector.
