We recently had special visitors in Steenderen. During the third day of the LandbouwMechanisatie Summer Tour 2026, editors Jasper Lentz and Chris Vlaanderen visited Rometron. In their video report, they show how WEED-IT precision spraying works in practice.
After a behind-the-scenes look at Rometron, the editors travelled with us to an arable farmer nearby, where they saw our WEED-IT in action. There, we demonstrated how our detection technology recognises weeds and sprays only where needed. Thanks to this form of spot spraying, growers and contractors can reduce their use of crop protection products by up to 95%, without compromising on effective weed control.
During the visit, we gave the editorial team a look behind the scenes of our organisation. From Steenderen, we develop and produce innovative solutions in PWM technology and detection technology for field sprayers. Our systems are used worldwide by arable farmers and contractors who want to work more efficiently, cut costs, and reduce their use of crop protection products.
